In the heart of New York City's Bowery, where the echoes of punk rock still resonate, a tribute to CBGB was born. But this wasn't just any tribute; it was a visual and auditory experience, crafted with the same rebellious spirit that once filled those legendary halls.

I took on this project with a GoPro, an iPhone, and a vision. A vision to capture the raw energy, the gritty texture, the unapologetic boldness that defined CBGB. Through careful filming, editing, and narration, I sought to create more than just a video; I aimed to resurrect a feeling, a moment in time, a piece of musical history.

The story unfolded, from the birth of punk rock in 1973 to the closing of CBGB's doors in 2006. Icons like the Ramones, Patti Smith, and Blondie were brought back to life, not just through stock footage but through a creative lens that understood what they represented.

But the project didn't end with the past; it extended to the present, to 359 Broadway in TriBeCa, where a local artist's tribute to CBGB awaited. I captured the essence of this homage, the texture on the walls, the lighting, the posters, painting a vivid picture of what it was like to be in the presence of Punk Rock Gods.

This was more than a project for me; it was a journey into a subculture that defined a generation. It was a chance to use my creativity, my passion for storytelling, to bring to life a place that gave birth to a movement.
